"The Garrard Silver Jubilee Clock" Manufactured for Garrard by F. W. Elliott Ltd. "The Garrard Silver Jubilee Clock" , limited edition no. 214/250, mahogany cased and mounted with sterling silver handle and face-plate both bearing the 1977 Silver Jubilee hallmark, the dial engraved with a Tudor Rose and bearing applied silvered Queen's Cypher above chapter ring set with Roman hour markers, Arabic minute markers and arrow-head half-hour markers, further engraved with the royal residences of Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Holyrood House and Balmoral to each corner, the side frets also featuring the Royal Cypher between Tudor Roses, the 28-day fusee movement striking on bells to produce Westminster, Whittington or Winchester chimes chosen by a selector to the back plate, this inscribed Specially Commissioned by Garrard The Crown Jewellers from F. W. Elliott Ltd. 214/250 and engraved with further Tudor Rose motifs, raised on stepped base to sterling silver bracket feet, with original key, accompanied by a framed Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Managing Director, booklet, compliments slip and additional related papers. 38cm high, 25.5cm wide, 15.5cm deep There are some tiny nicks to the rear upright edges at the back but it presents very well, there is tarnish to the silver mounts to the case exterior, they simply require a polish, it runs but the chiming and striking mechanism will likely need attention as while the cylinder turns and the hammers move they do not strike or sound the bells and overall the clock mechanism would benefit from a service, the clock has likely been kept relatively untouched since original purchase date, accumulated dust also.

A Late 17th or Early 18th Century Ebonised Bracket Clock A Late 17th or Early 18th Century Ebonised Bracket Clock , the caddy top with brass handle above fretwork panels to front and both sides, the silvered chapter ring set with Roman numeral hour markers, Arabic minute markers and 'arrow-head' markers on the half hours and half quarters and further featuring faux pendulum aperture and date aperture, signed Constantin London , the brass plate set with cherub head spandrels, with triple fusee and twin drum movement striking on a bell and six chimes, the back plate further signed John Constantin London against foliate scroll engraved detail and applied pierced mount, the case raised on a moulded and stepped base to bracket feet. 38.5cm high (including handle), 25.5cm wide For a similar example see Bonhams, Lot 106, 28 June 2011 ( https://www.bonhams.com/auction/18866/lot/106/a-late-17th-century-ebony-veneered-bracket-clock-constantin-london/ ) Runs, chimes on each quarter (once at fifteen, twice at thirty etc) and on the hour, missing the chime/silent switch, case likely associated, gaps between where the movement and dial plate 'sit' and the sides of the case, movement itself held in place to rear with a small modern piece of plastic attached to the interior base, some marks and discolouration to chapter ring, fretwork to front and left side have been pushed inwards, section of veneer to one side between glass and fretwork which comes loose and would benefit from being glued, some splits and crazing to the various case exterior sections, small hole to base also; additional images available.
