A Diamond and Enamel Brooch/Pendant and Earring Suite, circa 1860 the lozenge shaped plaque enamelled in blue with foliate decoration and a rose cut diamond centrally, in a white collet setting, to a yellow scroll frame, the earrings of similar tapered form, with hinged hook fittings, total estimated diamond weight 0.30 carat approximately, in a fitted case brooch length 4.5cm, earring drop length 6.9cm The pieces are in good overall condition, there is a crack to the enamel of the brooch. The brooch fastens with a pin and c-hook catch. They are stamped with the French eagle's head mark and in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 14.7 grams. CR made 21.11.24.
